Orders API - Do Not Require Deferred Flag for Deferred Menu Items

In order for menu items to be submitted to Toast as "Deferred" from Net Sales, the integrator has to submit the "deferred" flag set to "true", as well as the Deferred setting being set to True for the menu item.
Since the flag can be controlled on the Toast side, can this flag not be required, and let Toast determine whether the item is deferred or not from Net Sales?

Good suggestion, thank you for sending it along! I've brought this back to our product team as well and have filed a formal feature request asking for orders to refer to an item's deferred setting rather than requiring the "deferred" boolean on the order submission. I'll let you know if there are updates in this area in the future.
