Feature request — read/API access to Toast Tables reservations (bookings)

I'm a multi-location Toast customer. I'm building an internal system to centralize reservations across channels, and I need to read my own Toast Tables booking data programmatically, near real-time.

To be clear about what I'm asking for — this is not the existing "reservation integration" (POST /orders at check-in), which is write-only. I need read access to the Toast Tables reservation book (future bookings: name, party size, date/time, status, source).

Any of these would work, in order of preference:

1. An API or webhook that exposes Toast Tables bookings (even read-only, even partner-gated).
2. A per-booking email notification to staff when a reservation is created/modified/cancelled (I can parse email).
3. The Daily Reservation Summary configurable more than once per day (e.g. hourly), or an on-demand booking-report email trigger.

Is any of this available today or on the roadmap? If it requires the Partner/Integrations program, please point me to the right contact.

  Thanks for reaching out and your detailed write-up!

  To answer your primary question, Toast doesn't currently offer API or webhook access to Toast Tables reservation data, and read access to the reservation book is not currently on the roadmap.

  I can speak most directly to the API and webhook capabilities, since that's our team's area of expertise. The questions about per-booking email notifications and reservation summary email configuration fall outside our team's expertise, so I don't want to speculate on what's currently supported there.

  That said, I'm happy to submit a feature request on your behalf that captures everything you outlined, including your preferred order of solutions:

  1. Read API or webhook access to Toast Tables reservations.
  2. Per-booking email notifications for reservation create, update, and cancellation events.
  3. More frequent or on-demand reservation summary emails.
